This one my wife photographed on the window frame.
We even have a lot of crickets.
I sometimes wonder if the grasshoppers from Jersey hitch a lift over to the mainland via their eggs that are laid in soft soil surrounding the plugs we purchase.

Have you ever tipped some of the potting compost into a fine kitchen sieve. I found some small eggs once and one was hatched and looked like a leather jacket. ( Young of Crane fly, aka Daddy Long Legs ) As I purchased from a UK grower I destroyed but in hind site I should have reported to who ever you report to. What puts you off from reporting
no one ever says thank you to confirm that they have received. Remember when we were asked to report the scarlet lily beetle ( UK Spread). We were asked to give grid reference - dates the lot. Be nice to have a thank you.
