Bud on the poppy in October11

Couldn't believe it when I found this newly planted oriental poppy has a great big bud on it - In October! Just hope it comes into flower before the frost hits!

Thanks Pixi. These were GW magazine specials. I got 6 little plug plants earlier this year. They're all thriving but some more than others. I suppose I should really remove this bud to make the plant stronger, but don't quite have the heart!!!
