i had another try

orchard fruits and nuts
apple, pear and walnut too
pickled my fancy

im making apple, pear and walnut chutney ~ got all the stuff for it now ~ i think.

I made another 2 1/5 jars this afternoon with some more yellow toms and the apple I had left using the last of the mixture. Put a bit of carrot in there too. I'll do one more shot with the last beetroots and then sit back and relax with about a years worth of chutney : /

i was wondering how much you had made!!! next year you could have a polytunnel full!!!

beetroot chutney would be nice ~ make sure you are not wearing white clothes!!!
