They do prefer some sun - mine are facing SW. How long has it been in?

You won't be able to keep it there for more than a couple of years, Sticki - they get BIG!

I can't see why that would delay the leaf colour, though. Which one is it?

um? sorry cant remember ~ will go and look tomorrow when its light. it was in the ground and then OH objected to it ~ didnt like looking at the big leaves????? so i put it in a pot so i could have it near the house ready for those sweet little flowers it has.

Hhmmph! Tell him it MUST be planted in the ground! The 'big leaves' will fall off soon, anyway. ;-)
