I have three of these but there's not even a sign of a bud forming on any of them. How d'you get yours to flower so early JJ?

Sheilar,I don't really know,I have two more as well,this one sat in porch all summer facing north plenty of light no sun.The other one flowered 4 weeks ago,a deep red I gave it to my son as he liked it so much.

Mine live on top of a unit in a south facing dining room which gets plenty of light but the plants are not in full sun. The three of them flower every year. I think end of November/beginning of December, but as I said earlier, there's not even the start of a single bud!

Don't worry about them they probably be in full colour for the new year.I find plants do the most unexpected thinks.

I'm not overly fond of cacti, but so many of them have the prettiest of flowers, & in so many lovely colours.
