Fuchsia "Voodoo" possibly (Fuschia Tom Thumb)

That doesn't look like Tom Thumb :o( which is a small flower, and a mineature bush. The flower isn't so full as the one in this photo, and the sepals are a darker pink - well I haven't got Tom Thumb but I would say this isn't it from the photos I've seen in books.
It's difficult to tell what this one is. There are hundreds of verieties, and many are very much alike.

I have to agree it did not look like nor sound like the Tom Thumb being described on the websites I visited. It is dissappointing not to know the name but there are any number that it could be so I will just enjoy it for what it is.

I agree Motintot. Of all the ones I have seen on websites dealing with Fuchsias (must remember how to spell it. It is named after Fuchs) this seems to be the best choice. There are a few that are very similar like Army Nurse but the sepals bend backwards on it. Here is the description of Voodoo given on one website.
"Voodoo" has double-petaled flowers. It has red sepals and a purple corolla with deep red stamens. The flowers are very large and may need to be supported. The leaves are deep green.

There's a photo of Voodoo on one of my recent blogs if you want to check it ....

It does look similar Hywel and I'm happy to think that that is what it is. The pink at the petal bases looks familiar. Until someone comes up with another suggestion I will think of it as Voodoo. Hunting for a name has even more opened my eyes to the beauty and diversity of varieties available.
