Thanks Sheilar. Love baskets this one is hanging from an almond tree. Very sad story. The most beautiful tree when we moved here. Then two years ago a thick treacle like 'stuff' started dripping from the tree and then nothing. It made me cry!!!!! So have kept it and hang baskets on it now. Wish I had found this site earlier, maybe I could have saved the tree ?!!!

Oh, what a shame. Can you not get a replacement almond tree?

Apparently very hard to grow?? Should ask on here see if anyone has any ideas? It was so beautiful.

What was the stuff coming out of it - did this make it die? (I'm nosey aren't I)

Lol. No idea. Tried to look online but couldn't find anything! Sure it must have been some kind of disease!!

I know Dotty! It was glorious. We just didn't know what to do and were so sad.....

I can imagine I would be very sad to lose our lovely Robinia Frisia it has been giving up the ghost for three years now......
