One of hundreds of orchids in the Botanical Building. The Botanical Building in Balboa Park, San Diego was original built as a lath-house for orchids. It is still one of the largest lath structures in the world.

Thanks! I see many large one for sale here...they are pretty cheap in the stores...usually only around $14.00.

I did see a rather fetching intergeneric hybrid with what looked like a lot of Brassia in it at £20 a few weeks ago.

That's equivalent to 30 U.S dollars...that's not too expensive. I've seen very large ones for more than 40 U.S. dollars.

I agree. I don't like to pay for plants, which I can get free cuttings or off-shoots from someone. lol! :>)
