Here it is, almost the end of November, and I'm still getting a few flowers. This is one from seed and of unknown parentage. But it's a hardy rebloomer!

I had 'Soldier of Fortune' open, but not fully or as big as it should be. Then I noticed a scape on 'Inner View' coming up. This is my first year with fully evergreen types, and I don't know what will happen. You may be having frost (the highest point on Terceira does get snow), but yesterday no wind, today wind to 75 kph with gusts to 100 kph. I really need those strong stems daylilies have.

The frost didn't happen Wylie, still quite mild here bit windy tonight though, we live on the top of a hill so can get pretty blustery at times, nowhere near as bad as you though, but like you say the daylilies never need supporting. Crikey 'Inner View's' doing well does sometimes reblooms here not this year though, noticed today quite a few sending up scapes 'Happy Returns' has no leaves but several flower scapes looks very strange.
Be interesting to see how the evergreens do for you:-)
