I use the same Ericaceous fertilizer that I use for Rhododendrons and Camellias in containers, usually once a year.Last years supply was from Wilkinsons it was cheaper.

Beautiful: And when do you trim them? In spring or in the autumn?

Katrina depends if it winter or summer flowering variety
Whichever when it finishes flowering new growth will start within a few weeks ,at that time shear off just below all the dead flowers, shape it up a bit and it will grow away again.Don't forget the feed.
I am a little surprised that mine are still vigorous after 4 years as the container must be totally root bound

They are very modest plants. I have very nice liitle bush, which grows on a shallow land full of rocks and never gve it any fertilizer. It needs a lot of sun and regular watering.
