So did I. They used to give you a pin to eat them with as well back then! It was a bonfire Halloween treat. Now I use them in salad...More style than substance..;0)

Great picture. Pomegranate is far after shelf life.

It is ripe, but not passed it's shelf life..I have two more in the fruit bowl, one is gloriously dark skinned.

I just bought some pomegranate juice (at great expense) Think I prefer the real deal!

You can squeeze the juice out from the fruit. It tastes very good. Arabs consider it to be very good for getting slim and young :)

Squeezing is better!

freshly squeezed juice is always the best
