You know that James 1 or Charles 1 planted the red mulberry so that they could feed their own silk- worms ; problem being ( apparently ) silk- worms eat the white mulberry only .

Driad, you are right with those silk-worms:)
I have white mulberry in my garden too. It planted my godfather. They start to bring fruits after almost decade, but the fruits are so sweet and healthy. Especially for people with leukemia.
