It has definitely finished now,after the frosty weekend,but what a tryer it's been..:o)

Its the first time I've had one of these Pixi..and I did save a flowerhead..but don't know whether it will be ok or not....still in the shed,and forgot about it..probably all shrivelled up by now.! Lol.I should imagine you will be able to grow from seed..about feb/march?

R. 'goldsturm' is as tough as old boots...I just cut off the top growth n Spring.... R. 'cherokee sunset' i grew from seed came back last year, so i think you could be in luck with this one Bloomer...:>)

This one is called 'Early Bird' Moti..and doesn't get as tall as Goldsturm..only had it a few months, but I'm really pleased with it ..I will do the same,and cut the top off
in spring.:o)

Perhaps give it a bit of a mulch too Bloomer....I was checking it out and apparently its fully hardy...:>)

thanks for that Moti..and I did give it a good mulch ,when I did some of the other plants..After the last couple of years,I think we were all prepared ! so far so good :o)
