Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was very sad to see him clinging on the flower.... I thought it was dead.. I touched him gently and he moved his legs... Poor thing...

This is a wonderful picture. Sad about Ms Bee though! I love Nerines but haven't had much luck at all with them. I planted a lot of bulbs that a friend brought me back from a trip to Holland - I didn't see any sign of life from them. What did I do wrong? I know the location at the front of the house is fine as a neighbour a little further down the Lane has a fab-u-lous display!!!

Thank you for the comment!
Sorry to hear your nerines aren't doing well. For your info, here are some mistakes I made~ :-(

Mistake 1: The soil was too heavy plus I watered them too much. I learned afterward that Nerines don't like to be too wet.

Mistake 2: The ones I planted in full sun were fine for the first year. I thought they would produce more flowers the following year, but the result was opposite.

Things I learned by mistakes and reading several websites: Nerines don't like high-temperature and humidity. Also, the bulbs will be damaged if you apply strong fertilizer.
