Meanie; Alexandramou:

What's so amazing about this tree is that there's no sun-burned leaves. The temps were 114ºF/46ºC. and higher before I got there. Plumeria trees love extreme heat, however, these kinds of temps almost always burn the leaves.

46°c - time for the woolies then!

Meanie:

I hate this kind of heat! I still vividly remember when we had a 132°F/55.5°C heat index here, where I live back in July of 2006. The air conditioner couldn't keep the house cool...and my neighbor's very tall Eucalyptus trees we still there. I hope it never happens again, because the twelve giant trees were cut down in 2007.

Milky:

No, most of the Plumeria rubra trees are dormant, now. There are some with leaves and a few flowers, however, it's very few. Plumeria obtusa I've seen blooming, mine blooms anytime we have warm to hot weather. My plant has buds and has been blooming on-and-off for the last few months (because of the very warm temps we've been having this winter so far).
