You are quite right! Nor will much get done for another week even though most of the snow has now gone. 6" of snow is a lot of water! To top it all we've had a few rain showers now the temps have started to go up again!

Sorry to hear your plot is still frozen, BB, ours probably are as well! I haven't been down since Saturday when I went down to the GH to open up the trays & take off the newspaper that was covering them. I need to go down for a few minutes tomorrow & open them up again to let some air in & to rid some of the condensation which only benefits fungus.

I won't be able to any work even if the snow has all melted away as the soil will still be sopping wet for a few more days & it will only damage the soil structure by stomping all over it!
