Thanks Mushy, the form is very tree-like and the long thin branches don't shout mugo but it could be. Maybe some close up pics in due course would be interesting.

Palmate, can't even imagine so much snow...especially when it was 75ºF/24ºC today, and tomorrow is going to be much warmer.

Thanks Palmate for rubbing the salt into the wounds and letting us frozen Brits its going to be much warmer where you are today .....only kidding... LOL
Its actually going to be warmer here to today we are going to the dizzy heights of 1 degree Whoohooo.

Sorry, Palmate! I know up till now you've had a pretty mild winter. Wow, 1ºC for a high temps is unbelievably cold! Hopefully soon it'll really warm up for you!
We've been having an exceptionally warm winter this year. We will most likely get our cool weather during spring when we get May Grey and June Gloom (which mainly affects the coastal areas of San Diego). :>)
