i found him/her taking a rest on the beach as the surge was quite choppy and it must have got tired.im gusseing it was a year or two.
sticki i actually stroked it,i bent down slowly and stroked its back.it was so so soft.when i came back down the beach again it had gone back.

rare moments LS are'nt they ? I was swimming off the coast at Cromer when a bull seal popped up right in front of me. We both trod water for about 45 seconds 4 or 5 metres away from each other. I was fine with this until he submerged, I also submerged because I needed to know which direction he intended to go in. Happily he went out to sea, his head seemed to be the size of a dustbin ( not so cute ) but a fascinating & rare moment also.
