Aren't they pretty. So much variety and colour.

Amazing when you think it is about 2 1/2 inches sq.

the plants are that small, Pim? could you give me the names of them plase? unless the picture title is the names of them! but searching for Cobra or Trumpets might give too many off-target results.

Got me there Fran...it is a picture of flowering moss (cobra's) and lichen (trumpets). I will try to look up their real names later, when I get back from work.

well, that narrows it down considerably! sorry, that wasn't meant to sound sarky, that didn't occur to me till after I'd written it, but I meant it - searching for "lichen trumpets" and "flowering moss cobra" will help a lot.

did! Google found trumpet lichen straight away, though it offered Cobra Lilies growing in or on moss, there should be a direct hit somewhere in the list - lol if I want to find out, I should do the work myself, rather than sitting here waiting for you to wait on me!
