No, Moti.. All the buds are dead after suffering from the snow and frost.
What a shame :(

The snow didn't thaw for over a week and the temperature went down to MINUS 10 degrees (c)!

It'll come back, right?

The tree itself is all right, although the flower buds are dead and the tree might not bear any new ones in spring. Well, we have 4 more tree peonies which weren't damaged or confused by the fickle weather, so it's not a big deal -- I'm persuading myself... :o)

I knew tree peonies were hardy. I wasn't sure how hardy the flowers were, though.
I hope it'll develop new buds in spring!

Can't be helped :-(
More often that not, we just have to accept the fate :o)
Thanks very much for giving me soothing words :-)
