Rhubarb, garlic & Shallots planted already!, Early potatoes, Runner beans, Broad beans, Brasicas, root veg and salads.
Corgettes, Runner beans, leeks and Spinach will go after the early Pots and the broad beans are out. We'll start the beans in the green house. The broad beans are already planted in the green house. The later things will all start in the greenhouse to transplant out.
The beds that are done by the Autumn I hope to plant a winter grass crop for green manure over the winter. With the number of beds I have, I intend working a rotation system. I only hope it all works, but I am thrilled with the result so far. It has been so warm these last few weeks, so I planted my early potatoes this morning. At least if we have a later frost I can put my cage with fleece over them. I will not have to get on my hands and knees weeding between all those rows any more. Wow to garden and harvest in shoes not mud clad wellies will be wonderful!! I am busy planting the surrounds with perenials and bulbs now and have the anti bug flower seeds to pop in here and there later. I decided that I could not bear the thought of me on a zimmer with brambles growing around me in years to come. so now was the time!!
