Plenty of grit in the mix, water from the bottom and ideally a warm spot (south facing window in this case).
I'm well chuffed with this for a first effort!

....and so you should be....Perhaps not enough grit...and i didnt water from the bottom...:<(

.....and here I am trying to grow this from seed....wonder how many years until I see a flower.

I doubt it Alex............
Should be a year or so ahead of seed grown though. But you need mature leafs for this process.
