Edgeworthia chrysantha - 2012

Shrub to five feet for a loamy soil in sun or part shade. Needs a sheltered position as not out-and-out hardy (although it came through last winter without damage but without flowering). I've also found the local snails like the foliage, but with the protection of a copper ring at the base, it is now much happier and untroubled by molluscs
