Tipuana tipu - Tipu Tree Flowering

Thanks Delonix, I think a Tipuana tipu tree (love the name) would look lovely in my garden.
How old do you think this tree is?

There's many large Tipu trees in this area. I'm guessing some of the trees are at least 15 years old (based in the size of the trunks)...not really sure though. This tree grows extremely fast. However, in Balboa Park they're trimmed back regularly.
