I haven't seen any Giant Bird-of-Paradise.....at least I don't remember. Definitely not around these parts! They are gorgeous.

We're off to Athens the beginning of next month. Only for a few days.

I'm not crazy about Athens as a city....
I love travelling so it will be fun. We're driving there which I prefer....get to see a lot more than sitting on a plane.

I used to like travelling and used to travel a lot. But, since 9/11, it's just not the same...to many hassles.

San Diego is such a beautiful place with lots to do...so, I just go on my staycations. :>)

Lol...lol....I've had a lot of staycations (around Greece).

It's getting easier now but I remember that year.....security was at the max in all airports. (even here on Corfu)

My dad had to fly to NY in November....we were really scared.

Staycations are very popular these days...especially with the bad economy. Many people can't afford the full family vacation.

The security is always at max. here in the U.S. It's definitely not as enjoyable to travel like in the good old days. :>(
