Me too Junna! It has a very large head, but that is probably because it is juvenile Bik? Amazing photo. Is it a venomous snake? Last time we were in Cyprus in June a couple of years ago, there were so many squished snakes on the roads...yuck!

This snake is not harmful and likes water. It is rare to see him on a dry land. Hey, Bik, how is it that you know all names of flowers and animals in Latin? :)

I like non venonous snakes so this one is fine!!!!
Wouldn't mind that at all.
The only venomous snakes we have here are Adders/Vipers, same snake 2 names.
We get quite a lot of Grass Snakes, we had one in our pond one year when we had fish & he was having a grand feast!!
