Annual Baby's Breath - Gypsophila elegans

These are quite tall, about 2', and grow like buttercups. I think the shorter ones are allysum, although they are taller than the variety that I usually grow.

Yes the taller ones are gyp... looks wonderful... i plant gyp every year...have you tried limonium yet? it is gorgeous, fine, pale mauvey white and airy looking...lovely in a dried bouquet or in a vase with fresh flowers... it is so tough it is amazing...grows quite happily in my doyourownthing bed. So it must be hardy!! The best reason to plant allysum is the smell...sweeeeet. I have some that came up from last years seed...

Thanks guys! No I haven't tried limonium yet but I will be on the lookout now! Hope some of these self seed too!

will go out and take a pic of my limonium for my plant list...completely forgot it! it's not in bloom yet but the shoots are forcing their way through the echinacea!...
