More little flowers... Bachelors Button - Centaurea Cyanus

These are the same kind, just different colours, white & blue. Are they a sort of dianthus? They are from the mixed seed packets I had, just labeled 'Old Fashioned Flower Garden'. I started a packet indoors and scattered a couple more outside later on - big investment of about $1.20 for all three so I am loving all this variety!!

Thanks to all of you for your help! After Googling both, it is indeed cornflowers! Sorry Bonkers, my focus was off there & the flower heads for both species are similar. Thanks again!
