I had some slow growers last year and many of the delphinium bloomed right at the end of the season among the rocket snapdragons who withstood the cold longer than anyone. Who would have known?

I fenced for something to support the clematis that is still too small for the pick. And to stop snow-machiners from driving across the garden in winter.....lol. Doesn't stop any wildlife as the small clematis was still eaten to the wood once again. Poor thing. Those moose wont give it a chance.
