Ravenala madagascariensis - Traveller's Palm

This is the bottom section of one of many Traveller's Palms in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. Photo taken March 21, 2012. Traveller's Palms look very similar to Strelitzia nicolai, however, are much larger with huge leaves to 12ft/4m or longer.
