One of my Trilliums

My one is just a little way behind this. Impatient to see it come out, because it is the first one I've had.

I haven't got any of these do they like clay soil ok - I do like them, just been looking at some on another blog.

Sorry Olive I don't know as I don't have clay soil.

But you could always plant them in a nice pot.

thanks Scotkat yes I could, but I have just the spot for them in the garden. Think I will give them a go and see how they fair. I wonder if Karensue has any in her garden will have a look on her pages. She is fairly clay soil in Carnoustie. Thanks anyway.

we have very heavy clay here - so heavy that it stains the coat of every white dog in the county - and have several native trillium species so probably the right one would do fine!
