thanks, and yes, it is. We were doing haikus on anopther pic, and someone mentioned the "English haiku" form, with fewer syllables than standard; apparently it's easier to construct a 17-syllable haiku in English than it is in Japanese, so they decided to make the English version as hard, and only use eleven syllables in a 3-5-3 pattern.
I took the pic, and several others, in the hope that I might be able to see the birds that I'd been hearing if I could get the pics on full screen - there'd been a lot of loud wing-flapping and birds fluttering from branch to branch, but they were at the limits of my vision and it was morning so I was looking into the sun. Hoped that the birds might show up on a pic.
It's happened sesveral times now: i don't know if it's the season, male birds competing, courting or consummating relationships ...

Maybe I'll do a "vista" of all the trees, but I was aiming for this bit to try to see the birds that were making all the fuss.
