Another new one in autumn. This one is not a keeper. I will allow it to bloom for a year and then it is destined for the compost heap. It is a bi-coloured one. The bud count is much to low. Well now I know what a cross between these parents looks like. Maybe in spring it will turn to a double.

Yes Wylie I will keep it for a year and f it doesn't make double blooms I will pull it out. Oh my and I have so many seeds planted out of that cross! I also pulled oit "Popular teenager" and "Knock knock I'm here". I didn't like the tall scapes with such amall sized blooms. I always thought it would be hard to part with them, but I survived the pain. Ha ha!

I sympathize with you. I already have a couple marked for pulling as soon as flowering is done. But since yours is crossed with a double, they should be given an extra year to start doubling.
