The floral ballerina (Ipomoea purpurea (Morning glory))

Morning Glory with Lobelia skirt display. Got the idea from Alan Titchmarsh.. for the cane display, not the ballerina bit. Will probably try this again this year but be a bit more strict with the caterpillar control.

Isn't that lovely. I have three lots of morning glory in seedling form at the moment, and have plans to grow them up every single bit of ugly fence, which is a LOT! Hope they look as good as this.

Hi Shenuk! Success at last, third time lucky with the blue seeds. I've kept them on my conservatory windowsill, placing them on the radiator for short spells and voila...five seedlings in the last two days. Hopefully more will come tomorrow...great to see them. Thanks for your tips, you and Meanie got it sorted for me!

What else?

See who else is growing Ipomoea purpurea (Morning glory).

See who else has plants in genus Ipomoea.

This photo is of "Morning Glory" in Shenuk's garden
