Friendly Robin

Had this little Robin feeding from our garden table last year whilst we were sat there. Almost feeding from our hands (on mealworm - fresh and dried) but not quite. Currently got another one in training this year :)

Thank you. He/she was giving me his/her early morning concert before munching on the mealworm breakfast laid out for him/her. I do wish I could identify between the sexes.. it would make comments so much simpler ;-)

Fab capture of this beautiful robin... they are really quite tame aren't they. I did have a regular vistor but i haven't seen him lately..whilst out digging in the garden he would sit on the fence next to me and sing his little heart out..so cute :)

They are my favourite garden bird for the way they are so friendly and their beautiful tune when they sing. Sadly, my little fella (I'm presuming it's fella..) had lost his mate in the last week or so. So he's currently singing his little red breast out for a new one. I wonder if there are any Robin singles dating sites I could check out for him.. ;)
