I've got one of these - aren't they gorgeous at this time of year?

Indeed. It's like a small fountain in white :-)

It's been so wet this past week or so, that the flowers have gone over very quickly, and we haven't really had a chance to enjoy them. Same with all the cherry blossom. Shame! How has all your plum tree blossom fared? I imagine it was over a few weeks ago, though. What's the weather like there at the moment?
I took some cuttings of this Spirea last summer, and to my great delight, three of them have taken, so I shall be potting them on and finding homes for them around the garden. It'll be years before they get this size, though.

I saw your Spirea in some of your photos. Yours is big and tall -- very nice size and so elegant!! I bought mine 3 years ago, therefore it's still small. Oh, the plum trees were not mine but our neighbours. The blossoms lasted only about a week, and you are right, they were all gone a few weeks ago. Really shame! Congratulations on your Spirea cuttings! I should try the same one day!

It's a shame, the cold weather has stopped them in their tracks, and they've made no progress for weeks now. They still appear to be alive, though.
