Fascinating

Its so hard to take a photograph of because it is tucked under the shrubs. There are two stems with one flower on each.

they will spread wont they? then you will be able to see them better.
were they easy to get hold of?

I bought mine at a show held by the Scottish Rock Garden Club in Edinburgh. I have had a look on line and Kevock garden - http://www.kevockgarden.co.uk/ - does one for £5.00. If they will be at a show near you it is worth asking them to bring them along and you don't incur postage but you will probably spend a lot more on plants. Edrom Nursery do a similar one. They too are on line. I use both and get first class plants always.
Yes they will spread but not to the point where they would be a problem.

thanks scotsgran, i think a show must be the best way, most of the places seem to charge so much for postage!!

am i right in thinking it will be autumn before its time to plant them??

They come growing in pots so can be planted at any time of year as long as the ground is not frozen. Postage rates going up could kill off some of our best nurseries. The cost of diesel and petrol is already taking its toll on people going out for the day.
