It still looks pretty I lost my phormiums two winters ago not replaced them not a lot of point in wasting my money, think the cold will just get them. I didn't know Yuccas were susceptible to the cold either. Not got one of those so will not bother with one of those either.
Garden looks lovely Tommymoo it will soon recover and you can always replant if you feel like it. :o)

I can't agree with you more Oliveoil! Like you, I'm NOT going to replace anything dead. I don't want to buy any more non-hardy plant. I love gardening but I don't want to waste my time and energy on fragile plants which might die after winter. I was emotionally drained last month by seeing all the dead stuff. I don't want to suffer any more. No thanks!! :( :( :( :( :( :(
