Yes Paul, it's a tall hebe (purple) flowers all year round, even in the snow. I keep trimming it back as it grows over the path. We had a small lawn in the front originally but just couldn't get it to grow right, so we ended up gravelling the area (much prefer grass but never mind). It's amazing how many plants try to grow in the gravel - particularly poppies!
