Hi Karen, what a shame about your magnolias .... however a couple of mine are the same. The one that has survived the frosts I bought as M. Stellata royal star - but its flowers are pink, not white, tut. Another case of receiving a mis-labelled plant.

Oh dear what a pity, you may get another flower later perhaps?

Hi meanie ...... The ups and downs of gardening, sigh, lol

Downs - just binned all three of my Sollya after the winter.

Ups - seed grown Strelitzia is close to it's first flower, and my Hippaestrum cybister is about to bloom for the first time in five years!

Oh dear Meanie. Looks like we have to take the negatives with the positives.

Loadsa positives. But the whitefly appear to like my positives too!!!

What a shame ! it still might send up another shoot ,fingers crossed !

The good news is .... Its growing well, more, bigger leaves. Its taken a while to settle but seems happy now, even after lots of rain and the pond swelling and almost drowning it.
