They are fairly easy to come by in the UK, mostly the Scottish Nurseries sell them they come from North America and like some Shade although I saw them well into the Sun at Edinburgh Botanic Gardens some years ago,they grow into large clumps over a number of years but tend to take a year or two to settle when first planted.They come in a number of colours basically red yellow and white with all the shades you can make from them,which are a lot.

can you recommend a nursery brian please?

Edrom is as good as any,google Re planting times .
avoid imported bare root ones,cheaper but may take a very long time to settle, if ever.

Oh what a beauty Brian , Have you ever moved one ? I have a mauve one growing in full sunshine when we had sunshine the other week it 'flagged ' in the heat ,I'm thinking that I should move it in the autumn into the shade but wasn't sure how a move would effect it ............

I planted one in a pot a few months ago Bjs, but there wasnt any sign of growth, i scraped away the soil and found a little shoot emerging....Im delighted..lol....:>)

Amy, People do move them but as yet I have never tried
Agree autumn so that it can settle in during the winter
