All Scream and no Lady - C.L. is pink and red, Kermit's Scream looks almost the same as this one.

You would have to ask Richard Norris, the hybridizer who registered Kermit's Scream in 2006. With so many named varieties, you'd be surprised at some of the names, like one I just received called 'Squirrel Beater', I don't think it can be used to beat the squirrels off.

Lovely seedling :-)

Did you see the one on eBay, "Lightening in my Bloomers"? It's a nice sculpted one, but expensive. I also saw someone is trying to sell unbloomed crosses. With the wide variation from one lot of seeds, I think it's just too risky.

Yes I did see that one, great name :-)), haven't seen many of the sculpted ones before very nice, I thought the same as you with the seedlings, just because the parents look amazing doesn't mean the offspring will, some of them do have a lot of bids though.

Another one that can cause me to scream with delight! The petals are so broad, hey!

I just ran across the hybridizers comments on Kermit's Scream, and it was named because the eye is very large and screams across the garden. But yes, this one does have wide petals and it lays very flat.

What a terrible name for such a pretty flower! Why Kermit, and why is he screaming? Am I missing something?
