My one and only flower, something has eaten every other bud, love to know whats going round the garden eating my flowers, yesterday every head off a clump of tulips day before practically every bergenia flower.

i have wood pigeons in my garden and i wonder if they eat some of the new growth?? but your erythronium looks lovely.

Wonder if thats what it is Sticki I certainly have lots of pigeons, caught around 6 of them sat in my cherry tree pecking at all the blossom, before it even had a chance to open!!!!!!
Next it'll be the magpies got up one morning last summer to a right racket opened the curtains to see 4 or 5 magpies pulling all the newly opened flowers off all the red and yellow daylilies, flowers all over the grass,obviously they didn't like the colour.

something has pecked off masses of the buds on the oak trees, not sure if thats the pigeons or the squirrels??

It has been a bad year so far for bugs look out for green caterpillars, eaten loads of stuff in our garden.

What a shame ,I have wood pigeons they haven't eaten mine , we are constantly battling against nature >)
