Ah yes, I have a whole house of 'ish' ever since my two babes moved back in (temporarily please God!).

Yup, it doesn't take long to make a home look like a burglar has been in! Is that a wallflower in the photo under the photinia? It looks so pretty! Everything in this photo looks fresh and lush! You truly are the shrub queen of GoY annie! :))

Now that's the perfect description...burglar been in Lol! Yes Karen it's Bowles mauve. That spot gets a lot of sun so it's very happy.

Bowles' mauve is really the only one I would grow, but they don't do well for me. It's great to see how it is full of colour already Annie! :)) Oh, I do hope that we will soon have some better weather. My garden is all squelchy again :(

A bit 'squelchy' here too Karen. I think Bowles Mauve likes my clay, dry or wet it has flowered off and on all winter. I did lose two this winter though and that rarely happens.

perhaps they are not very long-lived though Annie. They do get a bit woody after a couple of seasons don't they. I also like the one with the apricot and purple flowers on at the same time. Reminds me of Nemesia....I love nemesia. Ah well, it will soon be time to start collecting bedding :))
