ok its a beautiful plant but will someone tell this idiot what its called because she would love it in her garden.

I think it is an Azalea? or a rhodo?

i agree with DD but i never know which is which; having said that the bigger flowered ones i tend to call rhodedendrons and the smaller azalea???

If its a rhode it will be to big for me. I'll look out for this colour among the azaleas. I'm sure my soil will be wrong but I'll give it a go you never know it may thrive. the one thing I've learned as a new gardener is plants have a mind of their own.:))
