The wisteria, how it looked in early summer 2010

The wisteria, how it looked in early summer 2010 (Wisteria sinensis (Chinese wisteria))

This is why the hoe is no longer in the wisteria...that tall section in the middle is actually a half-strangled white peach tree which had also been 'incorporated'...

I'm afraid there was nothing else for it but the chop!

I think it loved having that 'chop', Pixi!

It would have been nice to have been able to save the peach tree - the peaches were lovely...but, I've potted up one of the seedlings (loads come up every year) and given lots away...so maybe I'll get some peaches again one day!
