Cynara cardunculus

An architectural plant in the top border. I like the colour and shape of the leaves. There's Verbena bonariensis round it to soften it.

I see the bud at the very top Spritz. What color will the flower be ?

Purple - if it survives that long! it SHOULD have several flowers on it...
