The photo doesn't really do it justice...there is a beautiful pink flush on the petals which I just can't capture.

That is a beauty. If you plant it in the garden in a slightly bigger pot (plunged in to the soil) you can bring it in for the winter by digging up the whole pot.

This is the first time I've seen them in a colour other than red - which are called 'dragon'.

I've decided that I really need a little greenhouse for just that purpose, Sg...and I've found the right spot...
...now just have to work on OH...! lol!

Just remind him of how much you will save in the long run as you can keep beautiful plants like this one over the winter and take cuttings from it. It will save him a fortune at the market.

Will probably plant the seed next week...then leave it to grow for a while. lol!
