No flowers this year but hopefully in another year or two. My dog broke stems off last year and the year before it got a lot of storm damage. Maybe this year will be better. It's actually been a faster grower than Olympic Fire or any of the others and my only Mountain Laurel without any leaf spot. Even without flowers the large leaves look nice.

Yes, this was my first mountain laurel and I was very cautious with it. The sandstone surrounds the entire rootball and I filled it with a mix of half sand and half peat moss. I also add ground up oak leaves and other matter to it every season. It has grown very nicely :)
