Lovely flowers, aren´they SL? Please, can you explain more that comment on tea feed and its association with cherry tree blooming?

Thanks Sheilar,Terra :-)
Thanks Kat, i use a home made liquid tea feed, old tea leaves or tea bags stewed in water, then watered 15ml to 5 ltrs of water, works a treat...

Just means it works really well Katarina! :)) I find my Stella fruits fairly well, but I never get to eat the fruit as the birds take them all before they are anywhere near ripe! I should put a net over them really....I might one of these days. But I can't understand why they do that to my tree, which is right beside the house....and a couple of miles down the road there are two huge unprotected dessert cherry trees not near a house, that are always covered with ripe fruit! Ah, the injustice of it :(

Karen@ explanation is simple. They are not so delicious as yours :))
And thank you for explanation.

Oh Katarina, I can assure you....I've 'stolen' some in the past and they are the best tasting cherries I've ever tasted! :)))))
13 May, 2012
You must steal faster than birds then.

thanks everyone, i've only just started this tree this year but i have a wild cherry to distract the birds, well that's the plan :-)
